Hi! I’m Aliana

My name is Aliana and I am a registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) based in Calgary. I have experience providing in-person and virtual services to both pediatric and adult populations. My passion is assessing and treating clients with voice disorders, fluency disorders, aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, and cognitive communication disorders resulting from stroke, traumatic brain injury, or neurological conditions (e.g. Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Functional Neurological Disorder).

I believe that every individual is unique in their skills, needs, and methods of communication. Therefore, my goal is to provide my clients with the best individualized support through holistic, strengths-based and culturally sensitive approaches to help them reach their full potential.

My strengths include building safety and rapport with my clients, as well as incorporating personalized activities into my sessions to promote engagement and motivation. I strive to make speech therapy functional and meaningful so that I can help to make a transformative impact on my clients' lives!

Outside of clinical work, I enjoy travelling, reading, playing sports, and spending time with my family.
