Hi! I’m Sandia
I am a registered Speech Language Pathologist who graduated from the University of Alberta. I have always had a keen interest and passion for speech and language. Over the past 15 years, I have had extensive experience working and volunteering with children with speech and language delays. I have worked in homes, in classrooms, and within special needs educational settings. I have also had experience working with adults who have communication delays in a variety of settings.
I have provided support to children as young as 18 months through to seniors who have suffered from stroke or brain injury.
My goal is to help individuals improve their communication skills in a functional and meaningful way. My approach is to provide effective, easy to implement strategies to improve speech and language that fit seamlessly into your daily life. I thoroughly enjoy working with families to provide them with the skills they need to tackle the communication issues their family is facing. Together, we’ll build confidence, independence, and stronger connections through the power of communication.
In my spare time, I enjoy date nights with my husband, being a mom to two energetic toddlers, as well as trying out new restaurants around town and in new cities around the world. Cheers!
